The goal of this thesis is to develop a portable, web-based user interface targeting large touchscreen displays, for the use in expert and contemporary witness interviews to enhance and improve the metadata enrichment of cultural heritage image archives. The interface should be able to show multiple images from a large collection, allow them to be annotated and moved around freely to form groups, and suggest other images from the collection based on this grouping while recording all relevant user input and interaction. The interface should be designed with multi-user scenarios in mind.
