Description

Virtual Reality (VR) interfaces are an emerging modality of human-machine interaction enabling intuitive new modes of user input through positional tracking and immersive visualizations. Every year, new and improved VR devices enter the market, recent additions including the Vive Focus 3, a fully untethered standalone VR device. This diversity of devices brings challenges for developers, as the range of targetable platforms requires modular codebases and flexible development tools. The goal of this project is to explore different development possibilities on the Vive Focus 3. This is achieved by porting VIRTUE, a system for virtual exhibitions, to the Vive Focus 3.
