With its newest release the PolyDBMS system Polypheny has added support for the graph query language Cypher together with the graph data model. To assist novices building queries, Polypheny already provides some capabilities for the relational query language SQL via the Graphical Querying interface. This interface allows to easily construct queries with the help of interactive elements like buttons, sliders and so on. Additionally, it assists in further specialising the formulated queries, according to the existing data, with the help of the Dynamic Querying controls. These tools do not supported the new graph data model or the existing document data model. The goal of this Bachelor’s Thesis is to add new ways to interact with the system, by either extending or fully rebuilding the graphical query capabilities with all data models and query languages in mind. This should serve as a way to help inexperienced users formulating correct and meaningful queries, as well as providing assistance for more experienced users when working with the new data models or query languages.
